he is the one pope in my lifetime who appeared to have some connection, other than completely tenuous, to his "soul". the others, including the present one seem to be on the ususal papal track of the counter reformation and new world order agendas, supported by the activities of the jesuits and opus dei. the church is a mega business conglomerate ruled by corruption, power mongering, materialism and greed, and not by the sacred desires of "heaven" ;-)
