Is there any literature that is stating that appearance is necessary in choosing or buying a soap?? if so please post your source

I guess you mean the appearance of the soap - as in packaging and stuff... Well, you should consult some advertising related papers that can tell you the way packaging influences the consumer's choice.
However, this not being my area of expertise, you'll have to find that on your own. Google it, search Wikipedia.

You need to research using facts, not whatever anyone on here may tell you - you have no way to validate it.
