I'm supposed to work in an hour, but I live about 30 minutes away from work and there's currently freezing rain coming down. The road conditions are only supposed to worsen, along with floods, downed trees, and power outages. I'm afraid even if I can get to work now, when I get off in 8 hours, I won't be able to get home. Should I call and say I can't come to work, or ask to go home a few hours early, or just suck it up and go until the end of my shift?

Suck it up and go to work on time for your entire shift. Leave early so you have time to get there and drive safely. To do other wise would be childish and lazy.

You should leave for work with plenty of extra time. You have to be fair to your coworkers who have made the effort to come in to work and now have to pick up your slack. If you can't be bothered to drive to work in the winter, then perhaps you should get a job within walking distance.

I think that you should just suck it up until the end of your shift. your boss will appreciate it if you showed up. he/she knows that the weather is terrible outside, and that many people will not show up. Don't be one of those people. It makes you look bad
