If you use protection during intercourse it is basically a matter of comfort or easiness. If you do not feel any discomfort or pain during your period and feel desire and will to have sex and also your boyfriend does and doesn't mind you bleeding, as long as you protect yourselves, it would be ok.
If you don't use condoms, during your period, any condition (infection, virus, bacteria,...) get tremendously infeccious and it becomes much much easier for you/your bf get infected.

medical researches did confirm that it's ok to have sex during period. it would be more of a concern that you would need to overcome some psychological hurdles because it's kind of dirty to get along with the blood from period.

to make yourselves feel better, take a shower to clean your vagina before sex. ask your bf to wear a condom so that your discharge is kept off his penis when it goes into your vagina. place a big towel on the bed so that your blood won't stain your bed sheet. for sure oral sex on you would not be recommended. quite certain is that men wouldn't enjoy the odor during period..... unless they are a bit sick. complete cleaning of your vagina and your bf's penis after sex will be important.

As long as you don't have aids/sexually transmittable diseases that he could catch, then no. Although, for him, this may be gross. I wouldn't let my boyfriend do this while menstruating but that's just me. However, such things are between the two of you and if both of you find it appealing, have at it.

Other than it being really disgusting during your period, no. Make sure you both don't have any disease and you can have your pie and eat it too.
