Because VH1 and MTV are run by complete and utter morons. And they think you and I are morons so they dumb things down as much as possible.

They spend too a lot time on truth shows and stuff like that. notwithstanding, i am going to admit; a number of VH1's specials are noticeably humorous. i do not concepts VH1 or MTV2 yet, MTV has some shitty shows (except Parental administration; it truly is the in trouble-free words truth teach nicely worth observing)

VH1 wants to become like the E channel and show gossip related junk with music video thrown in .

Your so right but if you have Comcast girl go to I think its channel 474 and its VH1 Soul and they play videos all day everyday and if there is a commercial they are only like 30sec long!

if you have a satellite then they have a vhi oldies which show the ones from the 80s and 90s.. but i agree with you that was the reason i quit watching it.. i mean you go there to see music videos not a movie

Um, MTV used to be music too. Same thing. Its all shows now. If you want music videos you have to stay up really really late or get up really early.
