Here in US girl tend to wear flats and tennis most of the time, even at work. However, latinas tend to wear high heels as a more daily item, making them to look everyday sexy and feminine. Why is this?

I agree with Jackie sweetie, I can remember seeing my grandmother wearing heels and always looking great, not hoochie like as amanda whatever and chanel cooch have stated or even really sexy, she looked feminine and very put together. I also agree with the whole short thing, a lot of us are pretty short, I myself am only 5"2'. And yeah, there are some Latinas that dress like a hoochie while they're wearing their heels, but I've also seen plenty of white, black, asian girls looking like hoochies too. We like to look presentable, feminine, classy, and adding a couple of inches to our height is an added bonus too.

Okay, first of all, most of the Latinas living in the United States ARE Americans. And, as a Latina, I don't wear heels everyday; I actually wear flats everyday. Those Latinas might wear heels everyday, because, generally speaking, Hispanics tend to be shorter than other ethnicities

Hey Amandawill ....I live in the Midwest and uh yeah the average mom about 30-40 caucasian is ballooned out like the Pilsbury doughboy when I go to Jewel grocery store....maybe thats why they wear flats...and BTW flats don't look sexy they look like grandma shoes...ewwww.

Because Latinas are smart. They are hot! They look good and like to look good for their men and boy do we like to look at them!

Heels.....reps. a working woman, a sexy woman and also latinas tend to be shorter....Then we can also argue their moms did it so they do .....Im latina myself...but Im tall so I stay away from heels.....anywhos.....every race has its own style....and to amandawillma.......I live in New York everybody dresses differently....but I tell you one thing caucatian and asian girls here so not dress for their curve less bodies........tight jeans makes their behinds flatter and their love handles pop out.....so much for your theory there......

i luv high heels and its not cuz im latin or anyhting like that. I know alot of american who wear high heels to school everyday

im pueto rican we wear heels because latins dance more often and thier use to wearing them and we look pretty in them

Being a latina..its tradition. Since we were small we have been raised to look presentable at all times. Its in our blood and culture. =)
