Very normal. Most people don't feel it till week 18 or 19. I'm 27 weeks along and I didn't know I was feeling her move at 16 weeks. I thought my tummy was always grumbling. I found out a week or two later that was the baby moving. For awhile I mistook the ligament pains to be the baby kicking. It really does feel like butterflies.

If this is your first pregnancy, you probably won't know what it feels like until about 20-24 weeks. It feels like a fluttering feeling. If you've had movement and it has stopped you need to see your doctor immediately so that they can perform an ultrasound and see what's going on with the baby. If everything is fine but you still don't feel movement you could have a very laid-back baby. Hope this helps.

If you've felt movement in the past but are no longer feeling it then you might call your doctor. If there's been no movement for 24 hours it could be a warning sign. Personally, I started feeling movement around 17 weeks and then stressed over it every day because I was afraid I WOULDN'T feel movement at some point and discover something was wrong. If you've not felt movement to date then yes, it's still normal. Don't worry, within the next month you'll be feeling those flutters and kicks!

If you haven't felt your baby move yet, don't worry. Fetal movement is usually felt between 16 and 20 weeks. It is different for every pregnancy. Is this your first? If it is, it may be closer to 20 weeks before you feel it. You will actuallly feel something called Quickening. It will feel like little butterflies fluttering in your lower abdomen. Hope this helps!!!

Yes, that is normal. 16 weeks pregnancy is only 14 weeks gestation and still early for feeling movement. The average is around the end of the 5th month, with experienced moms feeling the movements earliest.

Good Luck!

It's too early to feel your baby moving if it's your first pregnancy. You should feel the first movements at arounf 18-19 weeks. Might be earlier, but not at 16 weeks.
