it's harder and more advanced in other languages cause we study english, arabic, french, physics, chemistry, biology, geometry, algebra, music, art, social studies, geography, history, computer, religion, and we also do extra curricular activities like: dance, initiation to life..... so it's harder. when u come to leb, i think u should repeat it because if u do brevet(official exams) u will easily be accepted anywhere including high- class universities in the US like ucla (as an honor student!!!!!!)

Sara this will cause you a lot of wawa. You will actually be obliged to bring your books home and read them.
I know this is outrageous, but you can always attend a school that follows the American System and get away with Governmental Examinations in Grades 9 and 12.
If you choose the Lebanese Baccalaureate system, you will probably have to repeat lots of your classes. But if you are determined, you can always make it.
Its always up to you whether to choose to continue with an American System in Lebanon. Of course not all schools offer this system, so you will have to find one, the thing which is probably not very difficult.
Thank you.

I came from Australia to Lebanon and went to school,
and my gosh its so freakin hard, like too much.
In Australia there isnt much study,
but at my school, theres this guy I met his American,
and he said its the same education u guys take!!
Dont know if thats 100% right!
But believe me u'll get use to it in a week.
Good luck with that!
And the schools are good and fun,and yes u can go to an American
school,coz i did!
If u finish the year 9th grade,no u dont have to repeat it.
But if u dont, unfortunetly yes u do have to repeat it!

Yes, it is much harder here in Lebanon than in the United States, that's why people here are fully educated. I advise people to study here.

school is harder here in lebanon
the system is overloading the kids with homework plus you don't have as many activities as in US
and the competition is very strong here in Lebanon
