i dont have camera so im using pictures i get off of the net.
is what i am doing against ebay rules.
are these pictures what are known as stock pictures or is a stock picure a proper picture that i have taken myself.
any advise greatly appreciated.

You can either put a stock picture and tell people that is what it is and what damgae your item might have or you can either borrow or buy a camera and take the actual pics of the item. you should let people know.

I would definitely say somewhere on the ad, that these pictures are of the product you are selling, but they are not the actual pictures of the product that you are selling, A Stock picture is a picture that is not one of the actual product you are selling, but is similar to the product you are selling. Like taking a picture from Dell, and using it in your ad. But the computer you are trying to sell is still in the box. I hope this helps.

yes, you need to make it clear that they are not pictures of the actual item you are selling. (these are stock pictures )

you should also get permission off the website you took them off

If its the same problem the i guess its alright. Just notify people to stay on the safe side.
