I am getting a new computer and would like to know if you think that i should get the Mac mini or the iMac.

It's all about how much power you want and how much you wish to spend. The iMac is the more powerful Macintosh of the two, with a Core 2 Duo and dedicated graphics. The Mac mini is a decent computer, as well. I own a Mac mini, myself. It's not a bad machine at all. Personally, if money weren't an issue, I'd choose the iMac or a MacBook Pro.
