Nervousness can cause sweating, but you did not mention anything about stress or difficulty sleeping. The first thing that i think of when a 20 year female starts sweating for no reason is a treatable condition called graves disease.

Graves is an autoimmune disease where your body makes antibodies against your thyroid gland. This causes the release of thyroid hormone, which in turn raises your metabolism. There are other conditions that raise your thyroid hormone and cause the same symptoms but graves is the most common in your age group.

Have you also had weight loss, an increase in appetite, restlessness, or palpitations (awareness of ones heart rate).
Many people who have this condition feel an increase in muscle strength at first and then later start to feel fatigue.

If you do have Graves some or all of these symptoms may be present, or it may present only with the sweating. I hope that this is helpful. Remember that this is a treatable condition that does not have to affect your lifestyle, but it is important to seek medical attention.

I also have the same problem. I don't sweat at night when I am sleeping, but during the day my armpits sweat whether I am hot or cold. I use Adidas deodorant and it has helped. If you are really concerned I'm sure there is something you doctor or a dermatalogist could suggest. I am always hoping it will be one of those things I outgrow.

Your thyroid my be a little off. Go talk to your doctor ... he may want to test your thyroglobulin level. For reasons unknown, a person's thyroid occasionally becomes either over-active (hypothyroidism) or under-active (hyperthyroidism)

If you have increased your intake of caffeine or have had more stress than usual, these could both increase your blood pressure. I would get that checked.
