How far along in pregnancy can you be told if its a boy or girl?

They say as early as 14 weeks women have been told and it has been correct but they dont go by it 100% because of the possiblity of the results being wrong so they like to wait until at least 16 weeks. With my last pregnancy I went to the ER at 14 and a half weeks because i was spotting and the ultrasound technician showed me my baby was fine and actually asked me what i was hoping for boy/girl i said boy and she said well if i wanted to know that it actually looked like 95% boy....guess what..she was right! I was amazed at how early she could tell me what my baby was..she even showed me the little wee wee..u could see it clearly too.

I was told at 20 weeks along that it is a girl. You can get it checked as early at 16 weeks. Some people claim that they can get it checked as early as 12 weeks, but it's not really accurate since if it's a boy, the boy parts haven't descended yet and would most likely show up. Good luck!!!

Depending on how the baby is lying you can find out as early as 16-20 weeks. I found out at 19w 6d that it was a boy!

16-20 weeks. And as for the suggestions on "tips" to encourage certain sexes, these are all a load of bollocks. Sex is one of the many traits determined at conception, along with eye and hair color.

as early as 15 weeks...rarely, definitely by 20 weeks if the baby cooperates with the technician. I had very early testing done and knew what I was having at 10 weeks.......if you have an amnio you'll know without a doubt.
