There are 100 cm in a meter and 30 in a foot. So for every 3 meters there are 10 feet. So 25 is about 83 feet and 4in. 35 is 113 feet and 8in.

3 feet in a meter. So 75 feet in 25 meters, and 105 feet for the other one.

The exact relation between the metric and the British systems of lengths was made by adopting that
1 yard = 0.9144 m (exactly!)
which gives:
1 foot = 0.3048 m (1 yd. = 3 ft., remember :)),
1 in = 0.0254 m = 2.54 cm (1 ft = 12 in, remember :))
Because I don't use the British system, the last value is the easiest to remember for me. Also, it is the smallest of the given units. This will give
2.54 = 254/100 = 127/50
or
50 in = 127 cm
Now, the LCM of 50 and 36 (There are 36 inches in a yard, beleive it or not!) is 900. So. we can write
900 in = 75 ft = 25 yd = 2286 cm = 22.86 m
25 m = 2500 cm x 75 ft / 2286 cm = 31250/381 ft = 82.0 ft
35 m = 3500 cm x 75 ft / 2286 cm = 43750/381 ft = 115 ft

a metric metre (i don't have a spelling problem - I'm Canadian) is 3.3 feet. An imperial meter is the same as a yard - 3 feet. hope this helps.

I work that out to be 273.1 sq m worked by the following 0.3048m = 1 foot 84 feet = 0.3048 x 84 = 25.6m 35 feet = 0.3048 x 35 = 10.66m 25.6 x 10.66 = 273.1 sq metres
