I remember both but tend to remember more of the bad part. It is harder to forget. I think a better way is not to forget it but to come to terms with it.

The bad stuff is always harder to forget because we can't help think what might have been if we had made a different decision.

It is harder to forget the bad parts in my life. I was once married to an abusive man and it is sometimes hard to forget all that he put me through. I am finally learning to forgive.

The Horrors ... because I am more cautious now and picky about the individuals I let into my own life .. and do NOT care to repeat the bad experiences.
The good is what I make of it .. and the fact that I SURVIVED that horror of a short disaster of a marriage is saying a lot. I moved on, and remain a Single to this day ....

I remember both good and bad. I learn from the bad so I can not forget that and the good holds a lot of good memories and I alwats like to hold on to them as well.

Good and Bad are like heads and tails. They are opposite sides of the same coin. They are what make me, me. I could no sooner forget one than the other and I can't say I would want to forget either.

Everybody's a little different. What's their family like?
What's their brain chemitry like?
Oh, and hey, got another one for ya.
What's their brain pattern in the front of the brain since the time of birth or so?
Researchers did a study on the EEG's of infants three days old, and could predict with 75% accuracy or better, whether the kids would be optimist or pessimist, withdrawn or outgoing.
Can you imagine?
Don't gotta, they showed it already.

I remember what changed me, made me stronger, had an impact on my character. Sometimes it's the the tiniest things, things noone else cares about, but it might have changed me. It doesn't matter whether they're good or bad, it's just what affected me strongly. when things change you like that you tend to lose sight of whether they were originally good or bad, you take on the feeling of what they made you, not what they were.
