i just got a industrial
and im unsure how to clean it so it doesnt get infected and stuff.
the women who pierced said "rinse" it often, but im not sure how..

do i take the bar out and clean that? and rinse the actual hole with water?

buy a peircing cleening liquid. take an earswab or rag and dip the tip in the solution. NEVER TAKE THE BAR OUT! at least not until the peircing is healed. dab the solution onto the bar and let it run on. it neds to get sompletly soaked. turn the bar and wiggle it a biut so the liquid gets inside your piercing. then dab dry. do this twice a day for a month or two, then it should be ready to take the bar out and you can pick what bars you wear.

i would clean it with green-soap (Provon) that's what they use to clean tattoos during the inking process and afterward

also a good cleaner for piercings specifically is H20
i got a bottle of each when i got my nose and my belly button pierced and the piercings healed beautifully

where exactly is said piercing,if it's a tongue piercing those cleaners aren't going to be what you want to use, tongue piercings you rinse out 3 times a day with water and mouthwash (Listerine) and everytime you eat as well in order to keep food bacterium from building up
DON'T TAKE IT OUT to clean it! your hole will close and quickly plus the in-out will irritate the piercing and cause you pain

i wish people at piercing and tattoo places would give people better info on cleaning and aftercare though, they're supposed to tell you all of this after you get pierced or ink'd

hope this helps

remove the ends from the industrial.
then slide it up ( only if the bar is long enough, and remains in both holes ).
drip the antiseptic/cleansing solution on the exposed part of the bar, then slide it back in.

if the bar is not long enough, i guess you would just have to clean the surface of the hole.

i really do not recommend taking out the bar. unless you enjoy the pain of stuffing it back in
