I hang out with the not so popular group in my school, and i really wanna be with the popular crew...
and my cousin came to school in year 7(when she came from primary) she is now more popular than me.
Should i just wear the right clothes to school?

You seriously need to quit worrying about being in the popular group. That's just pathetic. Being popular isn't "cool".
In fact it actually strips you away from your own individuality.
It doesn't make you "cool" to be in "the popular crew".
Ask yourself this...
What exactly is "cool" anyway?
Be yourself,
Don't try to fit in, and don't worry about fitting in.
Don't worry about being "normal"
Normal is all a matter of perception,
And is only meant to make you just like sheep,
where everyone is the same, with no individuality.
Where no one is their own devine person....
There is no self, in normal.
Hopefully you can actually comprehend what I am trying to convey to you, Because I am speaking from personal experience.
You seriously should listen to your heart,
not the propoganda you have been fed by society, governments, the media and so on........
If you quit trying to fit in,
you will "fit in" with yourself, and with your soul.
You should take my advice.....
Or else you are on a path to self destruct.
I know it wasn't the answer you wanted to hear,

clothe's dont make you popular. You should want to hang out with the people not the popularity. Hang out with your friends not the popular group. Besides you'll be going to high school soon. Maybe you should go to a different one then your cousin, since you seem to have rivalry going on?

Find your own style, and make them blend with you. Be yourself, and don't worry about the trendy "sheep". People, even the trendy crew, will be drawn to you because you are not one of the sheep.
However if you simply must be part of that crew; get the same clothes. learn how to say all the catch phrases properly (yo Dawg...etc). Don't chase around after the popular ones, just be visible.

dont be popular because you want hot guys... it shouldnt matter what group your in... as long as you have good friends. popular people tend to be snobs and think that they're above everyone else.....
to be popular... ur clothes matter little.. you need to be very loud and proud of who you are. at least be a little attractive. and dont be shy to express anything.... and just hang with your cousin more, even when you are not in school be friends with her.. then you'll know her friends and they know you...

and you are going to ditch your good friends for stuck up popular kids
