hey i want to get a good distortion sound to work with on my orange amp can anyone help?

Crank up Gain. Or buy a Boss pedal - I love Super Overdrive, but you moight prefer Metal Zone or something stronger.

got to the music/guitar shop and get a distortion pedal. (footswitch) that ought to do what you want.
