I'm transfering to a seminary to get an EdD because the prices are cheaper that other unvirstities. I wonder though, if colleges will give me a job when my EdD is from a seminary and not a university. anyone have any information on this?

The quality of the university where you get your doctorate is incredibly important to being able to get a good job as a professor.

If you are going down in quality to get your degree at a lower price -- it will not pay off in the long run.

You can ask the schools about job placement of their doctoral students. Many schools even have it on their web sites.

I hope you have your bachelors, masters, and 3 years of teaching experience before you apply for an Ed.D. I doubt you have any of the latter since you cannot even spell a simple word like universities.
