I have watched Emmerdale on and off for a couple of years now but I still can't figure out who is what relation to whom.

I agree with Chickenheadconventions explaination except Cain is Zacks son although he was brought up as shadrachs. Zack also has a daughter and two sons (decesed).
Francis 'Butch' Dingle was married to Emily (on his deathbed) after a bus crash with a King and Sons truck.
Ben Dingle died in a fight with the son of the then doctor (who was charged and convicted with manslaughter i think.) He was later cleared on appeal after it turned out he had a pre-exhisting medical condition which actually caused his death.
The daughter, (who's name escapes me at the moment) got her revenge by pretending to love him and then dumping him cruelly, he drove his car into a wall and died.
She left the village.
Then of course theres Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) but I haven't a clue who she was related to.

shadrack is father to cain and chaz, shadrack is zacks brother. belle, sam are zacks kids, the baby samson is sams kid. marlon and eli are brothers but not to sure who there dad is, chaz and cain are cousins to marlon, eli, sam, belle, del but im not sure who is the dad to del hope that helps
