Im thinking if he was doing this he is in no way to young for a little sex talk! I think it is normal to be comparing their penises at this age but Im not sure about the playing with each others...that doesnt sound entirely normal, but then Ive never had or been a 11 y/o boy...good luck...and I dont think that you overreacted at all by taking the guest home.

It really is no big deal ... the boys parents were right. Talking to him about men & men would probably confuse him... not sure he is ready for that. They (kids) probably thought it was more fun than anything else.
Although I would stop the sleepovers ... until youre sure he knows that (like closing the door when in the loo)... parading your penis is not the thing to do
I blame too much teen/adult tv being watched by kids too young...
makes kids more curious about their bodies at a younger age than we were.
good luck

Why are you trying to inject your fear of homosexuality into your son's life?
Hey, i used to tie up and kiss this one girl when we were both 8! I don't think I even knew what sex was! 100% innocent!
That sounds bad, huh... well, if it makes you feel any better, guys will still whip out their cocks in front of other guys sometimes, especially to hit sleeping people in the face and to pose and take pictures for later posting on the internet.

#1 you need to calm down. There isn't anything wrong with your soon wondering about his body. The fact that all the boys were doing that is kinda wrong and freaky. You should TALK TO YOUR SON only and be calm (no screaming) and explain why it's not right for him and his friend to do that and it's okay to explore HIMSELF.

You did right by taking your guest home and telling the parents, apparently some parent are just ignorant.
Talk to your son and maybe check the web on how to talk to him, how much to tell him.
good luck...

He was playing around. I once pretended to have a 3-way when I was younger. Don't worry about it.

comparing yes, touching each other no. I dont know if it is harmfull, but I never did that with my friends, and I doubt they did with my other friends either. Id say that it is time for your talk, whatever you plan to say.

talk to your son [i'm guessing], about the human reproductive system. talk to him about sexuality and such. in a few years, puberty will hit. the time to talk is now.
