Not quite sure what your question is. When you start a glow motor, your obviously need to connect the plug to a battery source to get it to glow. Once started, the combustion keeps it glowing and the engine running. If it is a new engine, the mixture screw on the carb. will need to be a bit further out than for normal running. This is to ensure sufficient oil is there whilst the engine is run in.Just four stroking, you will hear the difference in the engine sound, for the first couple of tanks. hen slowly lean it out by screwing the needle valve in, on subsequent tanks. After about 4 or 5 tank of fuel, you should be able to adjust the needle valve to give you the best revs. Then just open it up a touch , 2 or 3 clicks. Hope all this helps.
