Definitely the funniest guy around though not everyones cup of tea.Got all his stand-up on dvd plus just bought The World od Lee Evans which is made of short stories and there fookin hilarious. He's got John Thompson playin an armed robber which is great.

He is probably the funniest slapstick in recent years but for satire,
Ben Elton. For longevity and durability Ken Dodd and for Blue, well Bernard Manning is the obvious choice.

Yeah agree I got hold of a video last week called Lee Evens live in Scotland. Which I didn't know existed well worth a watch if you haven't seen it.

Humour's such a personal thing, isn't it? I can't watch Lee Evans - all that gurning turns me right off. At his worst he reminds me of - aaaarrghhh! - Norman Wisdom. But then for me the greatest comedian ever is Buster Keaton - so that tells you where I'm coming from.

Lee Evans is more suitable constructive. i have watched a number of their get up. i trust that Kay will be humorous yet theres a lot more suitable repetition of his tried & examined textile eg cellular telephone, relatives wedding ceremony caricature.

I think he's brilliant, and one of the funniest men on the planet. I was looking at some of his stuff on YouTube earlier today as my VCR is broken, and I needed a fix.
