The heat will not work on my Carrier central heat/ac unit. The blower works but no hot air. The a/c works fine. Replaced thermostat this morning, but still the same thing. Anyone have any suggestions?

Several ideas: 1. there is a reset switch and there is a wire that can come loss and the furnace won't work then 2. Does it blow air, but it isn't warm enough? When the temperatures get below 32 or near freezing the furnace works to hard and can not produce enough heat to heat your house. You need to turn on the emergency or supplemental heat. There is a button to do this on the thermostat. First turn off the heat, wait about 3 to 5 minutes before you turn it back on. This needs to be done when ever the outside gets near freezing for proper warmth in your house. When the temperature warms back up restore it to the regular heat. Again wait the 3 to 5 minutes before turning it ti the other heat. Good luck

If all else fails, consult the user manual. Usually they have troubleshooting hints. If you don't have one, go to the Carrier web site and find one. You will need the model number.
