My loyalties lie with me, ultimately.
And by that I mean by maintaining my own sense of integrity and being honest with myself, and by being the type of person that others can wish to aspire to. That being someone of honesty, compassion, intelligence and a sense of connection with everyone I come in contact with, striving to find a common bond first, before looking for our differences.
Of course, that's the ideal that I wish to aspire to, but the reality is sometimes different. But, I'm working on it...

Your loyalties lie with those who have a positive account in your bank of loyalty. Those who have made many withdrawals and have gone overdrawn, can only be forgiven and trusted in the future if they can be understood.
For example, if they were rebelling against no deposits being made in their account they may react by making withdrawals which cannot be repaid in the short term.
The test of loyalty, is whether trust and understanding stretches beyond a negative account in the bank of loyalty!

With those I love. But there is a close second in loyalty to the needy. Loyalty to the truth also.
(and to the Klingons, I'm afraid).

My loyalties are all tied to personal integrity, honesty and truth in all I say and do. Lies and deceptions in any area of life, only serve to destroy ourselves on many levels. My motto is just "Keep it real!" Solid, strong lives are not built on illusions! Think of the foundation for your life in terms of real building materials. Which structure would be the most enduring: a house of glass or a house of wood and brick? Well, you know the answer. Our personal choices determine the resulting quality of our lives. You choose "cheap, flimsy, fake" and you will get the outcome to match - your life will turn out "cheap, flimsy and fake". Choose strong, honest, determined and kind and you will be rewarded with strength, honesty, and kindness being returned to you!

My loyalties lie ONLY to the gods (Odin, Loki, Freyja) of my Norse ancestors. I have NO other loyalties.

Loyalty is always a selfish act!
Where there is loyalty there is division and where there is division the is friction.

with my friends. they are the most important people in the world to me. they have always been there for me when i needed help, and i know i can always talk to them. they are the sort of friends that don't pretend to listen, when they don't acctually care, they actually want to know how i am. i wouldn't have got through the last year without my mates.

That's a very broad-spectrum question. I'd have to say they lie with my closest friends, and to my education.
