Does the bike have any writing on it? For example KX125 or something like that? What color is it?

vin number is best the tenth number is the year take the entire vin to a dealer and have parts run it for you the vin is usally on the neck were the front end meets the frame if not there check behind the foot pegs the vin is there some where and by chance you have a bike that is real old write down all numbers seen and take to a dealer any good parts man will be able to tell that stuff

Most bikes have an stamped ID plate on the neck (behind the headlite and where the handlebars go into)

should be on the gooseneck, the part that goes from your front wheel to your handlebar
