I don't know if these are "awesome" study tips but what I do is go over my notes and if the Professor gives you a review I go through and make note cards and review those I also go through and try to find similarities between old tests and the material that has been covered. I also get at least eight hours of sleep so that I am able to read the questions clearly. Also the morning of the test I have a decent breakfast and review my notes again and then I go into the exam with a positive passing attitude and everything works out for the best.

Hope this helps, good luck!

I suggest planning ahead for the exams that way the night before the exams you don't feel like you have to learn everything. also, i suggest flashcards i used them and they helped me through countless exams. You can do games if you want, such as if you get the first 20 flashcards of your deck of cards correct you will reward you self (give your self time to watch tv, go out for a meal, go shopping, etc) then come back to studying. if you sit there staring at a piece of paper your going to get nothing from it. be sure to take breaks, sitting there for hours is not going to help you with anything. if you do the reward system game (the one described above), it will make you want to keep going to get those 20 right so that you can do something you want! another study tip is meeting with your teacher, from my experience when you sit down with a teach before an exam they often give hints about things that will be on the exam and it can be very helpful to tell you want you need to focus on or what you know well. in terms of the flashcards, make them all then go through them quickly, put the ones that you got correct on the first try in one pile and the others in another pile (the second pile will be what you need to continue to study where as the other one is stuff that you know since you got it right away). Hope this helps and good luck!

Turn off the tv and put on a cd of light classical music. This will help you focus better. Find a quiet, secluded area and make it your study area. Make it comfy, but also particular. Also take a 15 minute break every 45 minutes. This gives you a chance to re-group. Make sure you have all your study materials together, this prevents the need to leave your study area. Make sure that everyone in your house knows that it is your study or quiet time, this also helps to cut down distractions. If you have a lock on your door, lock it! Make sure you have snacks and beverages on hand that way you can stay focus and not have to leave your study area.

First off, in my opinion, sleep is more important than studying. It's also important to not stress out. When your mind isn't rushing with anxiety and fear, it is better suited to devoting itself to exam questions.

For the actual studying however, study key terms. Most teachers love using those and they build the classes around them.
