I have an Ideal Mexico Super 2 floor standing gas boiler and my pump seems to be working fine. The radiators have been curved to fit the bay windows but have been damaged in any way in the curving process. They heat up at the top and sides only but the middle portion of both radiators is cool, never gets hot. All other radiators in the house are old double radiators that get piping hot, it's only these 2 that won't heat up. What seems to be the problem here and what are my options to solve this problem?

Not enough flow through them, you need to re-balance the system, by closing the lockshield valves on some other rads. You could also check that the pump is set fast enough and also that is big enough for the system.

If they are hot on top the water is not circulating they probably haven"t been balanced, close a couple of radiators down completely in the house preferably the largest , open the valves fully on both sides of the problem radiators and turn your stat up a few degrees if they get hot get the installer back get him back anyway.

My guess is inadequate pipe size. The output of a 3m x 300mm single convector about 7,400 BTUH whereas from a 3m x 750 double convector it is 28,000 BTUH.
15mm pipe will deliver 15,0000 BTUH (22mm pipe 22,000 BTUH) so it is quite probable that your pipework will not feed the hot water fast enough to produce the rated output.

Sounds like maybe they need balancing properly. Call back the installer and ask him to do this - it doesnt take long but you have to know what you are doing xxx

have you tryed bleeding them if they are newly installed you loosen a bolt at one end and let steam escape and when some water appears it means they have filled with water.
