She's WAAAAY too happy or something......and all she ever says is stuff like, "My Dad was the best human being that ever lived, and he made me who I am, and I want to be just like him"

NOT that there's anything inherently wrong in saying that, but it almost sounds as though she's reading from a script.

I'm just sayin'..........

the whole family is a little too hyped. The pain of this loss must be incrediable for the wife, mom and little ones. I think that "being on" is how the family goes through life. Dad Irwin seemed "on" most of the time. so if she wants to be just like him, well she is. She may be reading from a script..her life script.
This whole situation seems so tragic. May the family find peace and healing after their loss. May they learn from Dad's mistakes enough to not take the same kind of risks. may peace be with them

She does seem scripted in that child-actor sort of way, like Dakata Fanning, who creeps a lot of people out. But Dakota grew out of the creepiness and Bindi will too.

You read my thoughts. Although I wouldn't call it "creepy", she is definitely not as a little girl, who just lost her father ... should be. I'm not sayin' she should be sad and crying all the time ... but some show of grief should have been apparent, after her father's death ... and it definitely wasn't. You hit the nail on the head ... when she was on television, shortly after Steve's death ... it WAS like she was reading from a script. Sad.

Not at all. I think she is adorable. If it was coming out of an adult, teen, even tween I would agree. I am virtually 100% sure it is pure sweet authenticiety: http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-GgIFACYzfqWx8YwvtspSWVmWzA--?cq=1&p=5427

Yes she seems a little creepy. Almost robotic. I think too much is being expected of her, especially having to grieve in front of cameras.

I think she's adorable...I'm not sure if she is just wise beyond her years cause she does say things that just don't usually come from 8 year olds but to me it seems genuine....very good up bringing I assume :)

I agree with you. That kid gives me the creeps. I keep waiting for her to do the whole "REDRUM, REDRUM" thing from The Shining. She seems like a minion of Satan or something. I think somebody brainwashed that poor kid.

I don't think it is right to make fun of her. She's a little girl who lost her dad. He was a hero to her. I think maybe she is just dealing with his absence in her own way.

i think she is great, plus she grew up in front of the cameras so her life is a little different.
