sequence, not system. Look at it with common denominators:

1/4, 4/4, 7/4, 10/4, 13/4, ...

The common difference is clearly 3/4.

It's an arithmetic sequence(or progression). Look
at the difference between successive terms.
It is always 3/4. So the common difference is 3/4.
