It's possible. Especially if he has a bad diet, eats a lot of sugar and caffeine, chemical additives, etc. It could also be hypoglycemia, which can cause mood swings, irritability, feeling whacked out, etc.
Take a look at this website and you'll see how hormonal imbalances cause a huge range of symptoms:

Look at the testosterone/DHEA imbalance symptoms.
The only way to confirm is with blood or saliva tests.

Anyone can have any type of hormone imbalance at any time in their life.

If he's concerned about this, he can see his doctor. But what you refer to "weird" symptoms may also be perfectly normal for him and not need any type of medical intervention. If you are that concerned about it, though, you should start by expressing your concerns to him.

Weel mood swings need not really be hormonal problem. It could be psychological as well. Unless you seek professional help you wont really know whether its psychological or hormonal.

defanitly, in most cases it is hormonal but in pleanty its a physcological inbalance aswell. the only way to know is if he goes to the Dr. other than that you'll have to deal with it. medical will help though

It's very possible. If he displays abnormal mood swings and behavior, then I suggest he see his doctor.
