I'm trying to think of what to do for Valentines this year for my wife. I've thought about her and I going to a spa here in town that offers a couples massage where we would get a massage together, or maybe get someone to watch the kids for a weekend around Valentines and go to a romantic bed & breakfast.

Would appriciate any ideas.

Hey Carleemay, thanks for your suggestion. When I posted this question, my thinking about this, whatever I decide to do, I'm doing this not expecting sex. Because if I went into making the decision thinking am I gonna get laid, I think it would ruin the gift for my wife.

Hey Nicky, get your mind out of your pants. I said a bit ago, that I'm not expecting sex at all from whatever I do.

There's more to life than sex.

Whatever you do don't plan on the sex thing. Make her feel like its her day and treat her like the true woman she is. Don't plan on getting something in return cause I hate when mine has a hidden agenda lol. On that day make sure she doesn't have to lift a finger at all. Have the babysitter and plans already made so she feels that you put alot of thought into it. Does she ever wish that you guys can go somewhere that you would never go to? Think back about what she expressed to want to do in the past and then plan to do that. Then she;ll for sure know that you listen lol. By the end of the night you wont even have to plan the whole sex thing cause she'll already have that in mind...Just go with the flow and make sure she knows how much work you have done to make her feel special...I hope this helps out alittle

Find a nice hotel and set up a sitter . then have a stretched limo come to pick you up with a dozen long stem red roses inside, and a bottle of her favourite wine or champagne . whne you get to the hotel relax for a bit then give her a complete body message relaxing her and letting her know you care and appreciate her ... then a nice supper at a nice restaraunt preferbaly the first one you took her to on the first date unless it is a mc donalds or taco bell LOL stay away from the fast food LOL .then retire to the hotel room and furfil her every need wether it be for a nice relaxing bath with out the kids running around and fighting or another message ..

You sound like a sweetheart! How about the bed and breakfast thing, but YOU give her the massage!! Go somewhere like Bath &Bodyworks and have a basket put together for her, including some nice massage oil.

Get kids a babysitter, take her to a spa and tell her you love about every 10 minutes. Most of all buy her her favorite kind of flowers and things should work out.

Honestly, it sounds like you don't really need ideas, you have come up with two very thoughtful ideas right there! If she doesn't work, and is with the kids all the time, take her away for the weekend, for sure. Good luck!

I like the 2nd one better. A break for just the both of you and I am sure you can still do the spa together. I really like it when me and my hubby did that last year.
