If you haven't read one of my Q's lately, I'm having a problem w/ my video card being to long to fit into the AGP slot.

Some have suggested to just reroute the dang IDE cable that is in the way. How could I do this if I only know of one plug for the Specific blue indicated IDE cable?

The card overlaps the IDE Plug and the belt/cable. If I pull the Belt out, it fits perfect and the IDE belt can't get plugged in that way.

Get a longer / different IDE cable.

How is the cable in the way? Is it too short, and won't go over and around the card to get to the plug? Is the card overlapping the IDE plug?

Some cables lay almost flat against your motherboard, in the way they plug in. Some are vertical, going straight down. Some aren't long enough to loop around and come in from the other side. Check out some of the options available at newegg.com

Beyond that, your motherboard _should_ have two IDE channels. Though they're usually side by side, so that might not help the card is really in the way.

You mean the IDE port comes under your video card?

Bad luck...

Maybe you can bend the cable or something.
