How can liberals not see that abortion is murder. I hear them say that a fetus is not alive. How could the fetus not be alive. It is a living being, how about if I were to murder a baby cow or some other animal I'm sure libs everywhere would be crying for peta to save the day. How about if I were to cut down a sapling, I'm sure libs would not be able to handle that. They seem to hate babies, I know libs will deny it, but after 50,000,000 dead babies there is no mistake who the killers really are.Liberalism should be outlawed it will only lead to the destruction of the U.S., or is that what they want. I know these godless libs would be singing a different song if terrorists were here in the U.S. fighting in the streets. Also remember libs, if it were not for the U.S. military, they would not be able to bash George Bush, you libs should thank the military, that you spit on, for your freedoms.The 1960's are over.

I take issue with a few of your statements. You compare a human fetus to a baby cow. Baby cows are killed every day-that is called veal. But they have nothing to do with a fetus A fetus is unborn. You say nothing about the age of the fetus. I don't believe a week old fetus is "murdered"-that is correct. I am much more worried about children that have been born and die of neglect and abuse. I certainly question-if those getting pregnant are irresponsible-and you don't want them to have an abortion-how will they be responisble parents? We have no solution, no help for these women-we don't want them to depend on the government-they can't work while pregnant-so what is the answer? If you outlaw abortion, what is the plan?
Godless Libs is completely intrue-although Dems are not likely to be "Born Again", Fundamentalist or any of those fringe religious "Chistian" groups that don't represent the majority of Christians at all. (They are louder but that doesn't make them right). Also I (nor anyone I know) have ever "spit" on the military. I know no one who has been anything but completely supportive of our troops. Also, yes the 1960s and many of your freedoms are over. And, if you truly supported any of our freedoms-or believed our troops in Iraq are fighting for our freedoms in the US, you wouldn't be so very angry about simple freedom of speech or freedom of religion.

Wow... I'm a conservative, but that was just one of the most ignorant things i've ever heard.
The argument is where "life" begins. Conception? 3rd Trimester?
Their argument comes from the fact that a baby cant survive on its own untill a certain point, we dont know that point. So until it can really survive on it's own, the liberals argue that it is part of the woman. So she has a right to destroy it.
They also like to argue that banning it would do nothing but force women to have abortions in unsafe environments.
I personally say I wouldn't support abortion if I had gotten a girl pregnant, but my opinion is no reason to ban it.
One thing I love is how people bash the other party. We need both of them to work, that we have both of them is proof that our government has some semblance of democracy because we can choose either side. Maybe if the democrats spent less time bashing the republicans and sounding like four year old children, and more time campaigning and making their views known, they would get votes more often. (and don't say look at the midterms, because those were not based on people liking the democratic party as much as people hating bush... and the dems didn't win by much, and i KNOW i was being hypocritical there.)

As for abortion, it went on before Roe v. Wade and will continue to go on, even if you ban it. Would a totally symbolic statement that "Abortion is WRONG!" satisfy you, and let your conscience sleep? Since abortion cannot be stopped, I will not agonize over it.
If Liberalism is outlawed, that would be the destruction of America as a free society. Where people are allowed to think for themsevles and choose their own values, and associate as they wish. Is the death of Freedom what you would bring to America? I submit, sir, that it is YOU who are the menace, not Liberals.

I see myself as a liberal, and believed abortion is womens choice, until recently when a person close to me decided to have an abortion, and my views changed. Once she told me her decision I was disgusted. To think that she wanted to kill her baby, did not sit well with me. It is easy to say that you are a liberal but it takes personal experience to see whether you truly are or not.

I look at myself as being an outstanding liberal. However, I am very young, and did not know that liberals supported abortion. Maybe I am like Chris Rock- he says he is liberal about some things and conservative about other things.
