i just had an ultrasound....so i had mine at about 9 1/2 10 saw the baby, it was small though but it was moving around a lot. I saw the feet and hands. you should be able to see something...not too much detail but you will see it. Maybe even a heartbeat. Thats when i saw my babies heartbeat

You can see certain things like the formation of the baby, eye and ear buds, hands feet but not the gender until about 15 weeks. Congratulations and good luck! Why are they doing so early....did you have problems early on or to confirm dates?

I did my son looked like a seed in a sac... it is a vaginal ultrasound.. very weird but I was having some pains that could not be explained.. so they though maybe twins.. since I am a twin.. it wasn't but I did have some preterm labor after 20 weeks.. he is fine 11 years old good luck

I had one early too, to confirm the due dates and make sure everything was ok...and yes, you can see the baby.....I had to have a vaginal ultrasound though because the doc could see the pic better......it doesn't hurt, it will be a neat experience for you! CONGRATS!

If you go to WebMD.com there is a week by week link you can click on and it will tell you what should be going on with the baby and yourself for that week. You can also sign up and they will send you weekly e-mails of the week you are. As for what you are going to see you will see a little jumping bean with legs and arms ::smiles:: at least that is all I saw at those weeks with my son. The doctor will be able to get all the information that they will need to make sure your baby and yourself are just fine. Congrates on your pregnancy and good luck.

I had a ultrasound done at the same time to confirm the pregnancy (i.e a heartbeat) and the dates. I got pictures as well. here check out this pregnancy calendar, I love the pictures they provide you with week-by-week. http://www.pregnancy.org/pregnancycalendar/

I saw my little one at 6 weeks, even saw the heartbeat (can't hear it though) it looks more like a big water pouch with a tiny thing in the middle, hard to make anything out really. Good luck!
