I'm a 14 yr old girl and a couple of months ago I started getting this huge crush on one of my friends. The only thing was, she was a girl. I used to be straight before this. After struggling to come to terms with this, I worked up the guts to tell her how I felt since it was tearing me apart. She told me she was straight but that we could still be friends, only now we don't talk anymore. We used to be able to tell each other anything and I really miss that. How can I tell her that I want to be friends again without sounding too desperate or scaring her away again? I'm not exactly sure I'm over her yet either.

Almost no way. She doesn't want to be friends with a lesbian. She is afraid of you to an extent. And so you have pretty much lost her. Being honest with someone is like putting all in when playing poker. You could win it all, or you could lose it all and go home penniless.
