I liked the original MTV when it was just music videos from R.E.M or Blondie etc. If you agree please answer or if you have another opinion I'd love to hear it!

I miss the original MTV when it was ONLY music videos. Godd ones too, like R.E.M or Blondie's Rapture etc. If you agree please answer or if you have another opinion I'd love to hear it!

Ahh....for the days when we yelled "I want my MTV"....I remember my kids and I calling in to vote for our favorite video every day. I think that was back in the day when MTV stood for Music TeleVision....not sure what it is supposed to stand for now.

I really agree. I miss the videos and all of these boring shows with relationship problems and drama are not appealing to me.

i miss that mtv....what a time to live in...but why dont you just watch mtv 2? they show even better music vids on that station anyway...or better yet just watch scuzz...ha...screw mtv...although now that im on the topic,i miss beavis and butthead!!!!

Absolutely it is supposed to be MUSIC television, not it's just reality dating television.

yep, I hate all those crappy dating shows! Is anyone really that desperate for a date? or just to get on t.v?
