Hey FYI it's actually called Duct tape because heating and A/C people used it for taping up metal heating and cooling ducts in homes. From there it blossomed into what it is today, a temporary fix for things. Some people use it as a permanent fix for things but it looks pretty nasty.

Well, I was driving an old car once, and one of the radiator hoses burst. I used duck tape to patch it up, and it worked for a couple of weeks.

If you have a wart, you can take a small piece of duct tape and place it over the wart, after a few days it will be gone...the wart, that is.
