I didn't drop it or anything either. I was just listening to it then it gave out. I just bought it like a month ago. Its a sansa e250. is it something i could send back to sandisk for them to fix? or can i open it up and do it my self?

If it is still under warranty I'd send it in. It could be as simple as a broken connection and as complicated as a failed circuit. I'd hate for you to open the unit up, void your warranty only to find it is something you can't fix.
