Diversity is having a group that is made up of different things. So if you have a diverse population, you have a population that is men, women, righ, poor, black, white, green, yellow, all sorts of people. It is important to have diversity because it allows difference of opinions and it opens us to culutral awareness of other civilizations, because we have people that have been in the same situation. Some disadvantages are racisim and misunderstinding.

Diversity is just differences between 2 things or people. Diversity can be good if you have a different perspective on issues because good civil debate stimulates the mind. It also applies to food. Diversity in your diet keeps you healthier & keeps food from not being so boring.
Diversity does have a downside. Too much diversity puts us at risk because when we have little, if nothing, in common, society suffers. Society has to have boundaries for it to work properly. Otherwise, we will be at each others throats. Forcing diversity upon someone is dangerous because it will not change behavior. It will foster anger & frustration because unless people are willing, they won't accept what is being taught.
Diversity is good in the proper context, but some take it way too far without thinking through the ramifications.

Diversity is assorted classifications. Classifications are usually used in identifing different catagories...such as GENDER ( male or female) or FELINE (cat family) CANINE (dog family). I think DIVERSITY is very important, not only to a country but to the whole world. Wouldn't it be a boring life if everything was the same??
That's the advantage. The disadvantage is some countries or specific people in catagories think they are the only ones that should be recognized as the best, thus creating prejudice. If you cut us, we all bleed red, thus we are all humans and all belong to the same species, which is diversified.
