I feel so sorry for those kids.........even if they ARE brats, there's just no excuse for using threats and profanity when you're talking to a child....

I am not a fan of using profanity around kids, or seniors, I try to be as respectful as I can be, but when I hear people yelling at their kids and cursing at them I wonder what the world is coming to. There are better ways of teaching your children to behave than to curse them out. :)

i don't believe of it truly is tremendous in any respect to in trouble-free words enable your baby throw a tantrum in public. If a figure helps it to expand to their little ones crumpling to the floor, screaming, kicking or operating then the moms and dads have not achieved their jobs as moms and dads. once a baby receives to tantrum mode, then it truly is acceptable to get all the way down to their eye factor and tell them to knock it off and straighten up now or there'll be a result for misbehaving. some people say placed them in day out in the shop, yet that would not artwork with each baby. Take them to at least some thing else room or out to the automobile and placed them in day out, provide them a spanking, or what ever your result would nicely be there in privateness. I truly have walked out of the shop and come again in a lengthy time period many events. in case you do no longer some thing or only wait till they get abode, then they have already gotten away with it. only to also upload, children would have moments even as they cry and whine. children have desires that favor to be treated and that is a thoroughly different ball park. *you're saying your son hasn't ever thrown a tantrum in public? I truly have a puzzling time believing that, except he's lower than 365 days old. once you haven't all started to adventure it then get waiting because it truly is coming. be certain you've a procedure action in concepts to practice in stepped ahead.

I agree. I have seen so many parents that should not be parents. I think so many forget that children are people, too.

I don't think the children that are misbehaving are brats. They are acting that way out of frustration because of the abuse.

Now, I won't curse at my children, but I have threatened to spank them in public and I have actually spanked my son in a public restroom when he was younger.

OOH! You just made me think of a question.

I agree. I get mad at mine but don't threaten them like that. My mom did that when I was a kid and I don't want to repeat her patterns.

They are being verbally abusive. Some parenting classes would help.

That was my mom...one time there was this lady and her kid was with the orthodontist, and he was be unbelievably annoying so she says "Stop it, or i'll leave the rooom" in this singsong voice...it's wrong, but beating works better. And spanking a child is legal.
