I would remove the carpet and have a more washable flooring fitted - or use a pedestal mat around your loo that you can put in the washing machine once a week

Vinegar and water does not paintings. It mask the smell for you, yet you should use something that eliminates the smell for the canine. puppy smell remover carpet cleanser isn't used in a damp vac; a techniques too little gets on the carpet. desirable smell remover is sprayed or poured onto the stains and left to sit down for some days, THEN vacuumed off. Vinegar and water is ineffective.

I would not put vinegar on carpet...you may not like the smell plus vinegar is high acidic. You need to neutralize the urine. Try baking soda sprinkled dry then let set over night and vacuum out.

The problem with urine is that familliar smell that reaches your nose is AMMONIA...and the only way to remove it is to use another form of ammonia..there is a product you can get at your local pharmacy called NILODOR..it comes in a spray and a concentratred oil. get the oil and just one tiny drop should get rid of that smell ..or get any cleaner high in ammonia.in the past i have sprayed strong windex on the spot then covered it with baking soda let it dry and vacuum it up the next day then wash it with gavex and that should do the trick..then after you have it all cleaned up tell your husband if he can't aim that thing then he should sit down and pee like a woman.LOL

Yes. Just make sure you clean the area with baking soda, followed by cleanser before applying water/vinegar solution.

I would try baking soda. Vinegar/water might add to the smell.
