Last year for valentine's day, my boyfriend was stuck in surgery, so we didn't get to see each other that day. this year, he is all healed and doing great, so i want to make this valentine's day EXTRA special for him. i have some ideas of my own, but am just curious to see if any of you have any good ideas to throw in! thanks

I always think it's fun to get lots of little unexpected presents or gestures.

I'm thinking of leaving gift certificates or special chocolates and stuff around the house for my boyfriend to find throughout the day with special notes that declare my undying love for him. I've been looking up "love quotes" on the internet to put on the notes for him. Like here's one that I'm going to put on a inexpensive watch or timer for him, "When I told you I'd love you forever, I lied. Forever is not enough."

Creativty and the simple things are sometimes the best.

Oh, and the biggest present I will give to him at the end of the day after our "date day" together.

U know the 25 days of christmas? Well u could do the 14 days of valentines. For example, on the first day get him 1 thing that represents the 1st day. Like one rose or sumn. The 2nd day, get him 2 things. The third day, get him 3 things like maybe burn him a cd with 3 songs on it that reminds him of u or vice versa. U get the picture. And like on the 14th day u could make him his favorite cake with a 14 on it that says happy valentines day or a teddy bear that has 14 on it. Hope you guys have a great time.

Even the "toughest" guy likes to see you are feelin' all romantic!

* Cook (or order) a nice, lightweight (but plentiful) meal early in the evening. Most guys truly appreciate food. Seafood usually works in the like-but-tasty category.

*Spread rose petals on the bed in the shape of a heart (most guys like that cheesy type of stuff -- it's so cute!!).

* Is he a beer guy? Put the type of beer he would only usually splurge on in a bucket of ice with champagne glasses. He'll get the "champagne" part but be happy you honor his beer taste.

*Wear something sexy but easily accessible. All those buttons, snaps, strings, etc., are OK, but it seems that most guys appreciate simplicity in lingerie!!

* Put on romantic music, but keep his taste in mind. Does he love/hate jazz? Does he love/hate easy listening? Honor his taste but keep the music soft.

* Most of all -- pull out a couple new or favorite moves when the lights go off (or don't go off). That will be the best Valentine's present of all!

Enjoy -- I'm jealous!!!!
