I have a Skystar2 satellite receiver in my PC, and you can watch free football on Hotbird 13 degrees East.
Search Google for Skystar and get a good program like ProgDVB from here:-

Hello there,

(ANS) I'm assuming your talking about an internet connection made via a satelite provider. YES! you can get internet access via satelites and yes! there are many companies across the UK & EU who can provide such a service.

However, satelite internet access isnt cheap & for it to work it requires special decoding equipement, so your PC (computer or laptop) can receive a signal. The problem with satelite services is that not only is the cost of the initial setup expensive at around £200 UK but the monthly costs are higher too at around £40 per month. Also download speeds are NOT that great at around 2megs to 4megs (in contast to the latest BT broadband offerings of upto 8megs which works out at about 5megs to 6megs when conditions are good).

**Yes! I'm sure you could watch sports & football matches streamed over the web via a satelite service but how good it would be in terms of image quality I couldnt say?

**Dont know if that answers your question??

This company simply catch TV feeds from satellites and send them over internet to you. It's not worth money they ask.

You can see list of FREE unencrypted satellite channels at
http://www.lyngsat.com/freetv/

In order to view them - all you need is to install satellite dish (like http://www.triax.co.uk/ ), converter and DVB-S card or USB box (like http://www.twinhan.com/product_satellite.asp )

But this is all good if you are willing to watch TV on your computer monitor. In my opinion it's much better to do on your large TV screen connected to dedicated satellite tuner box.

I've seen satellitetopc only in passing. To be honest, it looks too good to be true, though if it's genuine I apologise to them.
