Yes, it is possible.

Be advised that when you take money out in a foreign country you will be assessed fees. In addition to the ATM banks' access fee, either or both banks (yours and theirs) may also assess a transaction fee of a couple percent of whatever you take out.

If they charge 4% and you take out $100 worth, you're really being charged $104 plus the ATM access fee.

Probably. Call the customer service number which should be on the back of your ATM card and ask them. Also ask about any additional fees which might be incurred.

also, i traveled to 2 different countries last year and the atm gave a better exchange rate then the airport or other currency exchange even with the fees charged by my bank.
