For me personally, there are TWO main things and it is very difficult to place a value greater on either one of them. So, in no particular order:

1) The way the country has been divided by the so-called "Great Uniter."

2) The threat of life and limb against our children.

The reason neither is valued above the other is because divided, our children have no chance anyway.

And what I find inexcusable about everything regarding Bush is the fact that intelligent people are being branded as tin foil hat wearing retarded traitors and there is no solid ground to stand on. That causes me a lot of personal grief and pain. I have no country any longer. Bush has ruined what America is all about.

What are your thoughts?

The two worst things in my opinion are:

1. The neglect of the American people, as attention and funds are being put into defense, rather than the welfare of Americans.

2. The amount of life lost in Iraq, and money being misappropriated in the war on terror.

Republican.

I have never read someone's ideas that are an exact reflection of my own, especially when you say that you no longer have a country - I have known this since I started 10th grade (now in 12th) and plan to leave after I graduate to go to university in Holland, where even pedophiles can organize a governmentally-recognized party (although I don't advocate such organizations, of course). Actually, I suppose I can thank Bush for making me hate him and his America so much that it has led me to discover Europe (Germany and Holland, especially) and that it is a better place than America, with or without Bush, mostly in its ideals, duty to its citizens, unity in mindset (fairly open), forward-thinking, logical, and extremely intelligent. But, sometimes, I do fail to realize that America is not necessarily on a one-way street, and the tables may turn drastically as other countries of the world have in the past two decades. Overall, my disappointment in Bush is directed at his pro-Christian EVERYTHING, rather than the separation of that which is logical and that which is moral to him (which is all relative), and also the No Child Left Behind Act which has destroyed much of the American school system, which was never really effective in the first place.

Our standing among the other countries is less because of the war. When you visit other countries they no longer speak well of the United States. Yet you still have a country. You might seek to correct it, or make it better. You might want to join Amnesty International to help people imprisoned falsely. Or habitat for humanity to build housing for homeless. There are many things you can do. But you cannot give up. Giving up is too easy. Make a difference. If you give up, Bush will have won.

A war that is costing U. S. soldiers lives and hundreds of billions of dollars with no end in sight. All that money is going somewhere. It doesn't just vanish. It's lining Bush and his chronies pockets. The Bush's and the Bin Ladens own the Carlyle group. They manufacture military equiptment and ammunition.

I concur. It is regrettable that the the U.S. decided to engage in a preemptive and unecessary war in Iraq. It is also regrettable that the U.S. is more despised today thoughout the world than ever before. But by far the worst of it, is that the world sees us through the eyes of our crummy foriegn policy (thanks George W). And this "war on terror" I fear will end up like the "war on drugs". Ideologies cannot be defeated. And you cant change the hearts and minds of americans or terrorists with bullets and bombs. I support our troops (those poor guys), but I dissaprove of this president, and believe he should be impeached.

I think that the worst thing is the world is turning away Americans, everybody is protesting against American policy and thats not good.

Almost every week there are pictures and videos on CNN and other news stations. Our embassies and consulates are being attacked, soldiers getting killed everyday in Iraq.

The idiots that elected him in the first time and then turned around and gave it back to him for another term. The only way I would be ok w/ him sending more troops over is if "he" is on the front line right in the middle of it. He don't care, he don't have no family or loved ones over there.

I agree with you, but will add the following:

1.) Now the U.S. is hated by everyone.

2.) He lied about WMD, and found a way to go against the U.N. to go into Iraq for his own agenda.

3.) He has caused havoc not only in the Middle East, but world wide.

4.) He has not worked to provide health care to all U.S. citizens.

Thanks for the question.

A. Your own personal failings!
Had you cited not being strong enough in Iraq from jump street, or not securing Americas southern border I would have seen thought on your part.
Instead you whine instead of strive...
Well! Throw your pathetic pity party with out the majority of Americans.

2) The threat of life and limb against our children.

what threat? do you believe that crap about Bush being the biggest terrorist motivator?

speaking for myself, i like that the president is doing something to fight back against those who would love to come here and destroy everything we have inherited from our forefathers, who worked hard to give us this great country. we sure as hell haven't worked hard for it. and i would actually love it if he'd get a bit more serious about doing what he needs to do: protect us from enemies, foreign and domestic. there are treason laws for a reason, let's use them, shall we? starting with the lovely media apologists in this country.

so in sum, the thing i like best is the focus on security, and the thing i like the least, is the laxness of our security.
