why do people respond so mean to honda civics just because u say ur going to put a bodykit on it and make a few mods that doesnt mean that ur tryin to race people and brag about ur car u just want it to look and run nice according to ur personal preference

a lot of people are getting tired of seeing them on the road instead of American cars ,,that's a lot of the problem right now,,that,,and the fact that people say they don't give no problems,,and then you drive by most repair shop,s and you,ll see a bunch of then setting there waiting to be fixed,,,that's another part of it,,its just a lot of people don't like them,,or any other foreign made car right now,,good luck hope this help,s.

As a car dealer I buy these things because people want them......but I have had 2 friends that had them since brand new and I had to dump both of them......one had chronic a/c problems at 60K and the other had a rod knock at 110K. Of the ones I have bought for resale.....most of them were falling apart at under 100K. They are small, cheaply built, have timing belts and bad cv joints, bad a/c systems.......yet people are swearing they are the best things built. Ask anyone in the car business and we all hate em.....but buy em anyways cause they make money. Remember this phrase....."perception is reality". People think they are great, therefore they are. However, people who really know cars know they are a piece.

Hey, you do what you want. I personally would only own a civic for gas mileage, but that's just me. But it's your car and there isn't anything wrong with making it unique.
Just don't put one of those gay, pointless, giant wings on it.

Honda Civics are small, compact and stupid looking little cars. They're not worth $50. I had one but, I had it crushed!!!
