My very good friend John David ("JD") Wells on KXNT and again on KDWN; both Las Vegas AM talk stations. I used to work with him at a light rock station, and he was my mentor. And a great guy, too!

KROQ-FM--106.7 FM--Slogan: "the international properly-liked ok-Rock"--format: modern Rock that's not a bad mainstream radio station. It performs oftentimes much less primary, yet nonetheless mainstream artists (oftentimes the ok ones or the betters ones), with an occasional touch at some punk rock, grunge, and stressful rock from the 70's, eighty's, and ninety's (sooner or later, i exchange into questioning if there exchange right into a punk rock station on the radio, and while the motor vehicle grew to become on, they have been taking part in "Blitzkrieg Bop" by the Ramones!) like the Ramones, weapons N' Roses, and Nirvana respectively. modern-day Bands: Foo opponents Smashing Pumpkins Linkin Park Muse undeniable White T's Velvet Revolver Smashing Pumpkins upward thrust against pink Jumpsuit equipment baby Rock Korn gadget Paramore Social Distortion Incubus etc. So some sturdy bands, particularly ok bands, and a pair undesirable bands. that's not a bad station, yet i don't hear to it oftentimes considering all of the bands i like do not come out plenty. The classic rock one is: KRTH--one 0 one.a million FM--Slogan: "the appropriate Hits in the international"--format: Oldies/classic Rock This station is the real epitome of classic rock. ignore metallic and stressful rock; that's infrequently performed on there. The station purely airs 60's and 70's song. No Led Zeppelin, or perhaps Cream, until on particular countdowns, which rather tears me aside, even even though it nonetheless has some enormously staggering bands on there. that's maximum slow rock and R&B, with an occasional funk/rock and dad hit. Acts i like on there: The Beatles The sea coast Boys Earth, Wind, and hearth The Rolling Stones Stevie ask your self Aretha Franklin those are between the greater stunning ones.
