When the Earth is viewed from space there are no borders.

All boundaries are artificial.

In theory, yes. In practice, no. While you mean well obviously, you are simply asking for chaos when you do not take into account the true nature of man-which is cruel and lazy. For example, who will catch all the child molesters and murderers who are free to roam the world unchecked. How will people get health care, will there be a social security system, a tax system, etc? If so, who will administer it? One central, all powerful figure or government? And who will keep them in check to make sure justice and peace are kept in order for all people? Who will ensure our freedoms?
It starts out well meaning and idealist, but it ends up something very similar to either communism or chaos-or both. It's not in the nature of humanity for this to work, think about it.

I wish there was only one language, one religion, one nation , and only one country but if we look closely it's not the physical separation that's at the roots of our problem. People are getting so selfish that they want everything for themselves alone. In India, the south wants to separate from the union, pub jab wants to separate itself because it doesn't want to share its wealth with the other parts of the country. Think about why Pakistan was created? Or Sri Lanka or Bangladesh was created? John was a dreamer and it's not a bad thing but we live in a world where reason doesn't rule but it is governed by a handful of very clever individuals with nothing but their selfish motives.

Well yes, if we could live in a utopia without borders, without wars, it would be wonderful but it is impossible. People are territorial. It starts in infancy. Kids on a playground argue "That's mine! Don't touch it!" or mean kids grab a toy away from someone else forcefully. Waging war on false premises & stealing another country's resources (I won't mention any names, don't want to beat around the Bush...) is just an adult version of the bullying kids on the playground. It's human nature unfortunately. It's about survival of the fittest (aka the meanest). Kill or be killed. Grab what you want. More, faster, better. It's about money, power, corruption. The people who are dreamers, who are kind & peace-loving are the ones who get stepped on & abused because they don't fight back. It's sad but welcome to our planet...

Imagine is a beautiful song, but it is only "imagination"...doesn't wash in the real world...while us hippies with our guitars sit around singing about peace, the evil & powerful are out plotting their next attack...

We had something like that once. It was called being pre-cavemen. Barely walking upright across the plains of Africa carrying sticks and maybe a rock against better armed by nature everything. Even animals are territorial and will attack intruders.
We got the bigger brain. It should be time we took responsibility for it.
