Yes, in Europe he is not the biggest star anymore but in MSL he will be!!! He is the perfect package for MSL, he is European, he is married to former Spice Girl who were very big even in the USA, he has style, we have books and movies about him, ..... MSL is not paying all this money because of his football skills, when they bought him the whole world (including USA) is showing interest in MSL........ but ONLY Beckham could do this!!!! People didn't care about MSL before, but next season we will at least check once in a while how is he playing, where is L.A. Galaxy etc. ........ this is the MSL Revolution!!!!!!!!!

Yes it's good move, besides all publicity negative or positive (by the way people might think negative reviews will hurt him, boy are they wrong, that seems to add more power to celebrities) anyway yes for all of us who love the sport. Galaxy is a great team! See how we are all talking about it!!!

Honestly, I care smartass. But then I live here in L.A. and suffer terribly because as of right now everyone in this country thinks of football as the boring pigskin game, and call it Soccer.

I am thrilled Becks is coming to set that straight, and bring the game to us in the states. If anyone can bring about the recognition and fanbase to the game, it is him.

Capello is an idiot, thank god!

I think that the money was so much that economicly it was good for him. I mean really good. But if we look at it from a sports only point of view it sucks because he went from the world's best team to a place where soccer isn't even that popular

The benifit for Beckham is that even at the endo of his 5 yr contract with LA he'll still be better than anyone in the US MLS. But its great for MLS, my city (Toronto) sold 600 seasons tickets the day it was confirmed they would play up here.

you know what, wherever he goes doesn't really matters.
he just needs to leae europe for good as things are getting a bit shameful fo him over there and he suits the hollywood kind of glitzy lifesyle more than the reserved & hardworking kind of hectic lifestyle in europe
it's good for him and he should have gone there long ago instead of bringing unwanted distractions to football in a england or spain, places where football has a legendary history & deserves respect

He was doing horribly with Real Madrid. Maybe moving to L.A. will do some good. Plus...$250 million is a GOOD reason to sign.

Sure, he wants to live little Hollywood lifestyle and get into movies. The move has very little to do with soccer.

No. It's an American "soccer" league. How embarrassing. The standard of football is gash.
