Mine was an F-reg Fiat Panda 4X4 with a double sun roof. It only did about 73 MPH on the motorway. I concocted this theory that if all the occupants rocked back and forth in unison the car would go faster. You can imagine the looks we got from other motorists being overtaken by a Panda full of goths with colourful hairstyles all rocking back and forth!

Puter_Pat... that is very similar to many buzzmobiles that I have known & loved. My best friend's partner had a rusty green old Renault station wagon and the back doors didn't work so you had to catapult over the seats to get into the back. You then needed to get a buzz on to numb the pain LOL.

Mine was a bright green 1964 Buick LaSabre. It had no shocks or springs or something and it bounced as it went down the road. I called it "Rasputin" - after the Russian guy from back in history whose enemies kept trying to kill him but he wouldn't die. It was a fitting name for that car because no matter how badly I treated it, it just kept on moving down the road. It was also referred to as the "buzzmobile" by my friends but I won't go into the reason for that nickname!
